How do client payments work with Stripe?

Each business connects its own Stripe account, so payments settle directly to you - Opsicom never holds client funds. Payment timing (upfront, on delivery, or on invoice terms) is set per workspace and can be overridden per client.

Can clients pay from the portal directly?

Yes - Pay buttons in the client portal, pay links on booking confirmations, and support for optional tipping. Receipts send automatically once a payment clears.

Is a Stripe account required?

Yes, to collect client payments through Opsicom you connect your own Stripe account. Job management, scheduling and delivery all work without it - Stripe is only needed for the payment-collection features.
